FOTD MAC mega metals

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Augen:
- Zoeva "nude" Palette, auch für die Augenbrauen
- Mac fluidline "blacktrack"
- Beyu Mascara
- Nars Smudgeproof e/s base

Gesicht:
- YSL teint resist foundation
- Clinique line smoothing concealer

LG,
E.

Juicy lips with Korres Raspberry Lipgloss Nr. 54

Hi Ladies,
the last time I visited Douglas I saw some beautyful opaque lipglosses by Korres. As I am addicted to opaque, shiny lips I had to grab one!
Korres is a greek cosmetic label producing both creams, shampoos as well as decorative cosmetics. It's definitively worth a glance, I tried out different products already like the famous yoghurt cream for mixed complexion and the iris bodylotion and some eyeshadows.
applied slightly

It is described as a lipgloss with water based formla for intense colour and long lasting creamy texture, antioxidant and long wearing.
My opinion:
On the picture I applied it only slightly, but already I had an opaque layer on my lips. It felt smooth and is non sticky at all.
My lips did not dry out at all, they felt really moistruized.
Well, long lasting and lipglosses ..hm.. I really know, that a lipgloss can never be that long lasting than a lipstick. After some drinking and eating there still was some colour on my lips but I experienced it to disappear after 4 hrs completely.
If I put it on more heavily I had to use a lipliner to avoid fading, by the way Mac's lipliner cranapple matches the colour perfectly.
Overall I can say, a beautiful lightweight gloss with no shimmer, perfect colour for summer, buuut, still a gloss, so consider to refresh you lips every 3-4 hrs.

Do you like opaque glosses?

Kisses,
Erika

Mac Semi Precious Haul and more

Hi Ladies,
on saturday I got the chance to get some stuff from the actual Mac Semi Precious Collection. I was looking forward to this collection for a long time. I love mineralize products especially the mineralize skin finishes by Mac.
I also got 2 refill pans from permanent range, trax and golmine e/s :-)

MSF "pearl"

MES "smoked ruby"

Brush 234

Brush 218
I am not a swatch queen so I did a make up with the new stuff. On the eyes I have smoked ruby and on the cheeks of course MSF pearl. The blending brush 234 does its job very nicely, blending is easy to do and also for applying eye base or paint pots it has a lot of benefits.

The bigger one 218 is perfect for applying liquid foundation and both cream and powder blushes or highlighter on the cheekbone. I do not consider it suitable for applying powder all over the face with it as it is too small for this job.

But this is my experience of course, perhaps you find another way using it.

Did you get anything from this collection?

FOTD in the groove meets macroviolet

Hi Ladies,
it is obvious that violet, pink and eggplant coloured e/s complement best green eyes. As I was a teenager I used violet e/s all the time, every day!!

The middle colour of Mac's mineralized e/s "in the groove" complements my personal eyecolour best I think. It's a nice shimmery eggplant colour. Paired with Mac's fluidline "macroviolet" it is the perfect combination.

Do you green eyed beauties also love these kind of colours?

Erika
