Vampire Style reloaded :-)

Hi people!
As promised in my first post I show you now my final carnival look inclusive white lenses I wore last saturday to the vampire theme party. I was shocked of myself with the lenses, they looked really creepy..uuuhhaaaahh
I also did the make up for my friends, have fun with the huge amount of pics!

FOTD with Guerlain Ecrin 6 palette "place vendome"

Hi everybody!! I hope you all had a good day! We had wonderful sunny wheather today and I had a chance to take some pics in natural light, yeaaah!! :-)

I created a smoky look with my beloved Guerlain palette. There were tousands of reviews of it so I do not make another one. In case you want it, please let me know by mail.

colours used: dark grey on the right for upper and lower lid, light grey on the left to blend, lightest colour to hightlight and to brighten the tearduct area

on lips: nyx round l/s 04 "golden red"

The look is easy to do:
- line eyes with any black eyeliner, smudge it out a little
- apply the darker grey on the lid and the lower lash line, smudge together with the liner
- blend with the lighter grey upwards
- apply highlight colour on browbone and tearduct area
- mascara

Further products used:
Foundation = MAC Pro Longwear 
Concealer = Estee Lauder double wear stay in place
Powder = The Balm "sexy mama"
Cheeks= MAC MSF "brunette" (LE)
Mascara= Maxfactor Experience
Eyeliner = MAC feline khol (LE)
Brows = P2 tinted brow gel (discontinued)

I created the look for the office today, well, not a typical office look but it's fun doing untypical things, no? :-))

Haul: MNY Material Girl LE Lippie 802A

Diesen Post verfasse ich auf Deutsch da es MNY denke ich im ausserdeutschen Raum nicht gibt, verbessert mich wenn ich falsch liege!
Das Quietschpink ist mir fast in die Augen gesprungen und musste für läppische 2,75 Eur natürlich mit. Er riecht etwas nach Melone und erinnerte mich farblich gleich an Girl About Town von MAC.
Das Gefühl auf den Lippen ist ganz seidig und angenehm, der ultimative Test in puncto Haltbarkeit steht noch aus ...
Ich hab einfach mal aus Neugier mit 2 anderen Pinks verglichen...

MNY802A auf den Lippen, leicht aufgetragen

 Das Foto ist nicht der Hit :-) ich weiss... muss noch mehr üben mich selbst zu knipsen und dabei nicht wie ein Eichhörnchen auf Nahrungssuche auszusehen!

 Zurück zum Thema, Girl about town ist natürlich deckender und wahrscheinlich auf den Lippen länger haltbar da "amplified" finish. MNY ist durchsichtiger, lässt sich aber aufbauen und glänzt auf den Lippen mehr, richtig saftig sieht es aus. Farblich sind sie auf meiner Hand gleich.
Prep for colour l/g ist farblich in meinen Augen auch gleich enthält jedoch im Gegensatz zu den anderen beiden Schimmer.

Wen der Melonengeschmack- und Geruch nicht nervt und erst mal für wenig Geld ein Knallepink ausprobieren möchte, ist denke ich mit dem MNY802A gut bedient!

Addicted to MAC's Peacocky eyeshadows :-)

Hi everybody!
I can't stop using the stunning mega metal e/s from Peacocky LE. Today I compared Dalliance with Spectacle of Yourself.
I did not have too much time in the morning so I am not 100% satisfied with the result.
Sorry for my crazy eyebrows, need to work them out again :-)

EOTD Mac push the edge pigment

Hello everybody!
Today I want to introduce you my favourite purple e/s, push the edge pigment by MAC.

 Swatched without any base

 Products used for eyes:

MAC push the edge pigment on the Lid
MAC sex-spectations mega metal e/s from Peacocky LE for blending from crease upwards and lower lash line
MAC Vanilla e/s for highlighting
MAC blacktrack fluidliner
Maxfactor Experience Mascara

NOTD with ANNY Nailpolish "505 illuminate"

I found the new nailpolish brand at our Douglas yesterday and was curious to try it out. So I picked one colour, it is a shimmery semi-opaque white with slight greyish-pinkish duochrome colour.

I hope you get a good impression because it was hard to photograph and catch the duochrome.
2 layers gave a good finish and I realised that it dried quite quickly!

The content is 15ml for 9,50 Eur, not too pricey considering the good quality. I will for sure try some other colours in future as well!

 

Is there a dupe outside for MAC's mega metal e/s Sex-spectations?

I was asking myself whether I have a dupe for "Sex-spectations" mega metal e/s in my stash and tried it out:
First I compared it with the middle colour in the mes-Trio "in the Groove" from the "In The Groove" Limided edition. I was quite sure that it could be a dupe when looking at the colour in the pan...

Other dupe candidates, all from Mac's permanent range :

 Coppering

 Antiquied

 Star Violet

 From l to r: star violet, middle colour "in the groove" trio, sex-spectations, antiquied
Above: coppering

As you can see, there is no dupe inside but surprisingly star violet was the closest to sex-spectations.
The middle colour from "in the groove" was a bit darker and more brownish, coppering more red than bordeaux and antiquied acually bronze-brownish.

Mac's cranberry e/s is considered being a dupe, I don't have it in my stash but swatched in a store and it came quite close to sex-spectations.
Buuut, the finish is much more gorgeous with the mega-metal e/s, that's why I love it!

I did an EOTD with sex-spectations and my favourite purple pigment "push the edge" which I will show you soon.

Here we go, Vampire Style!

First I want to show you the products I used:

Face and Eyes:
-NYX "strike a pose" Palette (the black and matte dark brown inside) for a smoky edgy eye
-Arteco e/s base
-any foundation lighter than your own skin tone, you wanna look rrreeally dead for that look, no?:-)
-theatre make up "white" to white out any parts of the face more
-powder for setting the foundation, I used silk powder but any other translucent powder will do
-Maybelline Khol express black eyeliner for waterline
-Ms. Safari brown contour blush
-MAC "serenely" beauty powder blush or any reddish matte blush for lower lid
-False Lashes, I used some from P2

Lips:
-P2 Lipliner "drama queen" or any plummy or dark brown lipliner
-MAC "toxic tale" lipstick to fill in the middle of the lips
-P2 matte red lipgloss
-theatre blood

I wanted the look not to be too elegant and tried some different accessoires too like a little hat, big earrings and a wig. In the end I took off the false lashes because I find it better and less drag without.
Unfortunately I do not yet have received my white contact lenses I ordered, so as soon as I have them I will post the look again with the lenses :-)

Willkommen in meinem frisch gebackenen Blog!

Ich habe nun länger hin und her überlegt was ich als erstes hier zeigen soll. Die Entscheidung ist nun auf das Thema Fasching bzw. für ausserbayerische Leser, Karneval :-) gefallen.

Dieses Jahr bin ich wieder jeck und habe vor 2 Faschingsspektakel zu besuchen, demnach habe ich viele Ideen die ich ausprobieren möchte, natürlich auch inspiriert von youtube. In den nächsten Tagen stelle ich dazu Fotos ein.

Ich weiss ja nicht wie es bei Euch ist, aber hier ist das Wetter dauergrau, seit Tagen und das Licht ist so schlecht um ordentliche Fotos zu machen, ich hoffe, das wird bald wieder!!!
